Two-night minimum. We need at least a day’s notice for an arrival.
How booking works
Damage deposit. A $300 refundable hold is placed on your card 2 to 3 days before you arrive, and released within 3 days of checkout. Guests remain responsible for any damage beyond that.
Hurricanes. If Monroe County issues a mandatory evacuation for Duck Key covering your dates, you get a full refund or a credit towards another stay.
For trips booked well ahead, we recommend travel insurance.
About the resort: These villas do not include access to Hawks Cay Resort amenities such as the pools or the children’s centre. Facilities open to the public — restaurants, bars, the marina, the spa and water sports — are there for everyone.
The villas
- Seagrape (villa 5012) — Water views from the porch and the main bedroom, a full kitchen, and the beach a short walk across the lawn.
- Driftwood (villa 5092) — Recently renovated, with a sunset balcony, a dedicated workspace and two marinas a short walk away.
Questions we get asked
- Do the villas include access to the Hawks Cay Resort pools?
- These villas do not include access to Hawks Cay Resort amenities such as the pools or the children’s centre. Facilities open to the public — restaurants, bars, the marina, the spa and water sports — are there for everyone.
- Can we bring a dog?
- Pets are welcome by prior approval, with a pet fee. Ask when you enquire so it can be agreed before you book.
- Is there a minimum stay?
- Two-night minimum.
- How many people does each villa sleep?
- Both villas sleep six, in two bedrooms with one and a half bathrooms. Seagrape has a queen bedroom with a balcony over the water, and a bunk room with a twin-over-full bunk. Driftwood has a queen bedroom with a sunset balcony, a twin bedroom, and a sleeper sofa in the living room.
- Can I bring a boat?
- No dockage is included and boats and trailers cannot be parked at the villas. The marinas nearby handle docking and launching for a fee.
- Where exactly is Duck Key?
- Duck Key is in the middle Florida Keys, on the Overseas Highway between Marathon and Islamorada, with water on both sides. The villas are at Hawks Cay Village, and the marinas are a short walk away.
